Tematem warsztatów są rytmy orientalne i bałkańskie zaadaptowane na popularny instrument perkusyjny - cajon.
Podczas dwudniowych praktyk będziemy mieli okazję nauczyć się najbardziej popularnych tanecznych rytmów. 
Znajomość nut nie jest potrzebna! Poznamy prosty hinduski system sylab, który pomoże nam łatwiej zrozumieć rytmy i ich ornamenty i używać ich w improwizacji.

Zapraszamy z własnym instrumentem!

Warsztaty prowadzi Varga Merse - muzyk, perkusjonalista z Węgier. Przez sześć lat uczył się hindustańskiej muzyki klasycznej na tabli, latami podróżował przez Bałkany poznając tamtejsze rytmy. Pod okiem Ustada Misirli Ahmeda w Turcji zgłębiał wiedzę o muzyce orientalnej grając doholli, która jest od kilkunastu lat jego instrumentem głównym. Jego sposób gry łączy w sobie wszystkie poznane style i techniki.

ENGLISH 

The topic of the workshop is 'Oriental and Balkan rhythms for cajon'. In the two-day workshop we'll learn the most popular dance rhythms. Don't worry, you are not expected to know the notation system! We'll get to know simple Indian and Arabic rhythm solmisation, which helps to better understand the rhythms and its ornaments. We're going to use both of them for improvisation and groove! 
You're welcome with your own instruments. See you there!

Varga Merse – percussionist from Hungary, he learned 6 years hindustani classical music on tabla, for years he travelled through the balkans collecting particular for the region rhythms and studied oriental music from Ustad Misirli Ahmed on doholla which since years is his main instrument. His way of playing combines all the musical background.
